Education/Experience

Any combination, equivalent to experience and education that would likely provide the relevant knowledge and abilities, would be qualifying. Generally, this will require:

Education: Completion of a Bachelor of Science from a recognized university or equivalent, or 3 years of College or technical institute in science combined with general knowledge of quality control or related field.

Experience: At least two years in similar position at a facility dealing in Food, biotechnology, or testing laboratory.

Other Requirements

Can easily interpret specifications of products , ingredients, and methods mentioned in the various pharmacopeias in order to establish a correct standard and product nomenclature that adequately correspond to the desired one.

Should also operate common computer programs , tables , and word processor to enable him/her  to communicate in an up-to-date fashion , and to record statistical entries for the products to be controlled.

Also should demonstrate the ability to correspond and communicate professionally with various personnel within the departments of the company .
